We have an After School Care centre in Kingsford.
The programs we offer are guided by “My Time Our Place” principles and are underpinned by ACECQA‘s National Quality Framework.
For Parents:
Our programs provide a home away from home for your children. We provide you with worry free care whenever you need it.
For Children:
Our children are encouraged to play, learn and grow, make friends and have new experiences. We offer engaging activities based on children’s individual needs including quiet time for homework.
For Staff:
Our team members are committed to giving your children the very best of care in a safe and supportive environment.
Fees and Billing
We will soon be introducing a new stress-free direct debit system where weekly fees will be automatically deducted from your account.

You can make a payment by cash or cheque at our service. Our preferred method is via direct transfer. Account details will be displayed at the bottom of your statement. Please email our team a copy of your payment remittance.
Afternoon tea is provided daily at ASC. Please take some time to have a look at our menu on our notice board or on this website.
There is no afternoon tea served at vacation care so please ensure you pack plenty of snacks as vacation care is longer and more active than a regular school day.
For any child with an allergy or medical condition, you are required to provide us with an action plan and any relevant medications your child/ren may require.
The online parent portal allows you to make and cancel bookings at your convenience. All bookings should be communicated in writing, so parents are encouraged to use the online portal. If you do not wish to use the portal you can send us an email or text with any booking requests.
Permanent bookings may be changed provided we are given 2 weeks notice. Any booking changed with less than 2 weeks’ notice will incur the standard session charge.
All families have the option of permanent or casual bookings. Reduced fees are available for permanent bookings which repeat from week to week throughout the year. Casual bookings are one off bookings that are available at any time up to and including the day of care.
Last minute bookings are not a problem provided we have a position available. For any last minute bookings please contact our team via phone or email.
A casual booking can be canceled at any time with no cost to you. For any cancelations of permanent bookings we do require 2 weeks written notice. This can be done via the family portal or via email.
If your child/ren has been sick for an extended period of time and you have a doctors certificate, please contact our GWC Children’s Services staff to discuss the options available to you.
If you are planning a holiday please contact our GWC Children’s Services staff to discuss the options available. Depending on the centre’s availabilities at your time of absence we may or may not be able to freeze your account without charges.
GWC Children’s Services will work with you to find a solution to meet your needs. Each partner who has a separate financial responsibility for their child/ren will require to have their own account/enrolment.
Vacation Care operates from 8am to 6pm during the school holiday period.
During Vacation Care your child may attend at any times during the operating hours, however keep in mind that you are charged by the session and not the hour.
On excursion days we do request that your child arrive before 9am to ensure that he/she does not miss out.
All children attending our Vacation Care programs are required to bring a hat, a drink bottle and enough food for the day. (morning tea, lunch and an afternoon snack) Remember it is a long day so please pack a little extra then a normal school day.
Specific days such as party days, cooking days and water days may require you to pack some additional items for your child/ren. On other days food may be provided by our service. Please refer to each program for these specifics.
