From the first moment of the pandemic, the Greek Welfare Center of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia was engaged in the battle to deal with its consequences, especially in the areas that have been severely affected due to the imposition of strict restrictive measures.

Under the general title “Covid-19 Support Services,” special programs and services are designed to offer people emotional, psychological and practical support during the difficult period, in the shadow of the onset of the pandemic.

The Bilingual Counseling and Support Hotline is in operation, while through the meal distribution service “Acts of Love.” the staff and volunteers of the Greek Welfare Center are on the side of those who face problems.

It is reminded that the services of the Center are addressed not only to the Greek community but to the entire Australian society.
